USA Third Party

  Why does a third party help? Well, first of all you don't have to pick a side. You finally have another option. Isn't that a relief? No more left or right, conservative or liberal. No more labels. Just you and your 340 million plus neighbors looking out for each other and trying their best to treat each other well.

A third party is the best way to break the gridlock in Congress. We don't need to win the majority. We just need to win enough seats that our votes are required to reach a majority. Nothing will pass without us, the party of reasonable people, supporting it and we will demand good governance and legislation palatable to reasonable people. Oh, and this party will never vote collectively as a block. Our members will vote their conscience, always and forever. You want partisanship, you've got two other options. Join them.

 The current two party system in the United States is broken. Republicans and Democrats have both failed at leading this country.   Republicans and Democrats have both failed at uniting this country.  Neither shows any interest in actually fixing the problems of this country. They just want us to pick a side and yell at the other. And while most of us are frustrated to the point of breaking, it is not because one or the other of our parties is right. It's because our country is failing and neither party offers real solutions.  

USA3 is dedicated to governance, not just governing. Governing alone is about power, it's about who rules. Governance, on the other hand, is the act of governing but also a dedication to institutions, laws, and rules. Governance is not just about what decisions that are made but how those decisions are made and how disputes are resolved. Governance provides mechanisms to ensure leaders act responsibly and transparently. Good governance is efficient which, at the moment, our government is not. And most importantly, governance is about fairness, participation, and rule of law. Nowhere is governance defined as winning social media spats or undermining other parties to improve election chances.

  This is a place for reasonable people who want to work together for a better country now and a better world in the future for our children and grandchildren and our children's children and grandchildren. We'll need your help. We'll float ideas and we want constructive feedback. If you like what you hear or if you just want a sane place where reasonable people discuss reasonable solutions to the problems facing this country, please join us.

  We don't care if you vote for us. We only care that you vote for non-partisan, reasonable people who value their country over their party. We'll share ideas and we'll work with you to craft those ideas into something you like. We don't care if the Republicans or the Democrats take those ideas and claim them as their own. If you like the people promoting these ideas and you trust those people to follow through, vote for them regardless of the letter beside their name. But hold them accountable. They need to be committed to these ideas and not just using them to get elected.
